SF Environment on the Move
The San Francisco Department of the Environment (SF Environment) will be bringing its offices into one central location on the 12th floor of 1455 Market Street between 10th and 11th Street, near Van Ness.
SF Environment’s new home will include its 1,000 square feet EcoCenter and 24,000 square feet of office space. The space will showcase the latest materials and technologies in energy efficiency and green building, and is designed to achieve LEED certification.
San Francisco is habitat for 800,000 people – meeting needs for space to work, play, and learn; for food, water, and air; for community with local flora and fauna. SF Environment provides support for urban agriculture and forestry and green buildings, helping residents and businesses harness environmental opportunities.
