Cell Phones - Risky Business?
|
Some scientific reports find that heavy users of cell phones may face increased risk of brain cancer and other serious problems. San Francisco's Commission on the Environment hearing on January 26 will consider recommendations to reduce cell phone users' exposure to radiation.
Children and teens are considered especially vulnerable because their brains and bodies are still developing. Learn more Sunday January 17th at the free workshop "Are Cell Phones Safe? How Teens Can Avoid Risk."
Reduce your exposure immediately - use a headset, speaker function, or text instead. Visit the Environmental Working Group to learn more.
