Resolution commending Commissioner Alan Mok for his service on the San Francisco Commission on the Environment.
 

WHEREAS, Commissioner Alan Mok was appointed by Mayor Willie Brown and served on the San Francisco Commission on the Environment from March 10, 2003 to January 8, 2008 and then was reappointed by Mayor Gavin Newsom on May 14, 2009 and served until July 11, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner Alan Mok served on the Commission on the Environment’s Operations Committee and as Operations Committee Chair; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Alan Mok has dedicated his service to the Commission on the Environment, and the Commission and the Department of the Environment would like to extend a commendation for his outstanding service and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Alan Mok provided unique insight and assistance on Departmental and Commission outreach efforts to the community; and,
WHEREAS, The Commission on the Environment and the Department of the Environment are appreciative of the work that Commissioner Alan Mok performed; now therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, That the San Francisco Commission on the Environment and the Department of the Environment recognize the honorable Commissioner Alan Mok’s contribution to protecting and advancing San Francisco’s environmental wellbeing, and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
