Shop at your local farmers market
Farmers markets often have the freshest food because it is sourced from local farmers. Rather than being shipped and stored for days or weeks, the food comes straight from the farmer to your reusable bag. Fresher food tastes better, meaning shopping at the farmers market can help you make tastier meals!
Supporting your local farmers market is also good for the environment- when your food comes to you locally, it takes less miles (and less gallons of gas) to get to you.
