What can I do about a restaurant using styrofoam?
Nearly 100% of restaurants in San Francisco are compliant with the Food Service Waste Reduction Ordinance and do not use styrofoam. However, there may still be businesses out there that do.
If you know of a restaurant or other food service establishment utilizing styrofoam as to-go containers, contact SF Environment. The Zero Waste team will assist the business to comply with the ordinance.
