Join the SF Environment Department for a peer learning webinar showcasing San Francisco’s holistic, data-driven approach to implementing equitable EV charging infrastructure.

This information-sharing session is designed for city departments, municipal agencies, and local governments working on EV deployment and clean transportation planning. Members from the SF Environment Department & UC Berkeley’s Center for Law, Energy & Environment (CLEE) will walk participants through the EV Equity Roadmap, an interactive map the City is using to identify priority neighborhoods, assess charging gaps, and evaluate individual sites for new infrastructure. Highlights include charging locations nominated by the public through the ChargeUp SF community mapping tool, as well as proposals from Charge Point Operators to own and operate chargers on city-owned properties.

Whether your city is just getting started on EV equity planning or looking to refine an existing approach, this webinar offers a concrete, replicable model from one of California's most active EV markets.

What we'll cover:

  • Overview of the EV Equity Roadmap and methodology
  • How the City identifies priority neighborhoods and infrastructure gaps
  • Site evaluation criteria and how public nominations feed into the process
  • Q&A
