Description
Join Treasure Island Development Authority, SFE, and Cal Academy on Yerba Buena Island to participate in the 11th international Bioblitz to identify local flora and fauna using the iNaturalist app!
Our goal is to capture data by taking pictures of existing wildlife to highlight the importance of green spaces and healthy ecosystems in San Francisco, especially in our Environmental Justice communities.
Volunteers will explore Yerba Buena Island and use iNaturalist to identify and capture wild, local biodiversity! Participants will need a cellphone to download the app prior to the activity. Staff will provide further instructions at the event.
