Event Producers: You are responsible for adherence to zero waste regulations. You must submit a completed Zero Waste Event Plan Form to [email protected] no less than one month before the event.
This document is for event producers to fill out in order to ensure their event meets San Francisco's zero waste requirements.
All events must submit Proof of Recology services i.e., Recology service quote.

- If your event has 1k+ attendees and will have food and/or beverages, attach the contract/invoice from an SF Environment-registered Event Greener.
- If your event charges an admission price and will have 2k+ attendees, attach an SB 1383 edible food recovery contract from an eligible food recovery organization.

Step 2: Complete the form, secure a Recocloyg service quote, and if applicable, a quote or contract from an SF Environment-registered Event Greener, and SB 1383 edible food recovery contract
Step 3: In the subject of your email, provide the name and date of your event, and email the completed Zero Waste Event Plan Form and all relevant attachments to [email protected].
