Antifreeze is Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and requires special handling.
There are two free services for residents to safely dispose of antifreeze:
- Drop-off at San Francisco's HHW Facility (501 Tunnel Ave., San Francisco, CA 94134) - available Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 AM - 4 PM
- Free home pick-up service for HHW - contact Recology to schedule a pick-up by emailing [email protected] or calling 415-330-1405
